One operating structure. Distinct ventures.
Asterfield creates and operates focused ventures across software, intelligence, and media. The portfolio doesn't share a visual identity or a single business model. It shares an operating foundation and a preference for specific, testable opportunities.
Some ventures become long-term businesses. Others remain useful experiments or media properties. Asterfield gives each one enough independence to develop honestly — and enough structure to avoid starting from zero.
Every venture in the portfolio started the same way: a real, overlooked opportunity, tested with as little ceremony as possible. ClaimCascade started as a question about missed calls. Austin Signage Intelligence started as a question about public records nobody was reading closely. The $4,000 Call and Valor Studios started as bets that useful ideas and repeatable production systems deserve their own dedicated properties, not a mention on someone else's feed.
Asterfield's job is to keep that pattern working — to give each venture a place to operate honestly, and to provide the parts that don't need reinventing every time.
What Asterfield is not
- Not an agency working on behalf of outside clients.
- Not a fund investing in companies it doesn't operate.
- Not a consulting firm selling advice or frameworks.
- Not a startup studio churning out lookalike products.
