Austin Signage Intelligence began with a narrow question: can early commercial-development records reveal which projects are likely to need signage before the opportunity becomes obvious?

The raw materials already exist across project registrations, building permits, planning records, business openings, and related public sources. The difficulty is not simply collecting them. A sign company needs to know which projects are relevant to its territory, how early the signal is, whether signage activity has already begun, who can be contacted, and why the opportunity deserves attention now.

That changes the product from a permit database into a decision product.

The initial pilot is deliberately manual. Real opportunities are collected, verified, ranked, enriched, and delivered to Austin sign companies before a larger software platform is built. The next proof is not whether the pipeline can produce rows in a spreadsheet. It is whether a sign company values those opportunities enough to pay for continued access.
